Almost every
baby will develop hiccups at one time or the other. If your baby had
hiccups in the uterus, she will have them after birth. You should know
that this is usually signal for “TIME OUT.” Hiccups will most often
occur after a period of stimulation, (i.e., handled too much, activities
during or after a feeding, or exposed to prolong noise and/or lights.) In
short, the baby’s senses are overloaded. The cure, eliminate or lessen
the stimulation as much as possible.
